In this work the School reconciliation Institute as a Russian model of school mediation, the history of its development & the basic principles of work are considered. Also restorative mediation (other programs of work with conflict & juvenile delinquency) & characteristics of mediator work with multiethnic conflicts are discussed.
In 2010 in accordance with information from the National Foundation for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NFPCC) School reconciliation Institute was one of the “Best practice of children protection”. In 2011 it was accepted to organize such an Institute in every Moscow school. In 2012 it became the national primary task before 2017.
