Investigation and Prevention of Antisocial Creativity in the Context of Family in Modern Foreign Studies

11

Abstract

The relevance of studying malevolent creativity (MC) is related to optimizing interpersonal interaction in various fields of activity and reducing destructiveness in communication in student groups. The article highlights and analyzes research on MC conducted in the context of the family. It shows a high tendency to realization of MC in behavior that harms others in the form of black humor, sarcasm, lies, and verbal aggression in adolescents who grew up in families with excessive care; emotional or physical neglect on the part of parents; those who have experienced childhood trauma as a result of sexual or physical aggression. Attention is paid to the role of personal characteristics such as the dark triad, formed in the context of negative parenting practices in the family, and their connection with the generation of harmful ideas and the manifestation of such ideas in behavior. The contribution of personality traits, psychological resistance to stressful situations, and beliefs, to the reduction of MC is discussed. Examples of successful foreign practices teaching how to suppress anger, forgiveness interventions, and cognitive reappraisal strategies are given. Various directions of preventive work are offered both with teenagers and with their families.
