The number of teachers belonging to the stages of “forming” and “formed” symptoms in the phases “Tension” and “Exhaustion” is about 42%, and in the “Resistance” phase with the indicators “beyond the norm” is 63,5% . The predominant needs of employees are the following: “good work organization”, “personal material and social security”, “utilitarian”. The results of correlation analysis indicate that the range of the relationship between the symptoms of burnout and professional life needs is from -0.17 to 0.42. Relations that are based on the results from the both methods and are “beyond the norm” are of particular interest: 1) the need “in personal development” correlates with the following symptom of burnout – “inadequate emotional response” (r = 0,37) and 2) “utilitarian” need correlates with the burnout symptom of “the experience of traumatic circumstances” (r = 0,30).
