Psychosemantic Analysis of Train Dispatchers' Attitude towards Their Profession

The article gives a psychosemantic and value analysis of attitude towards the train dispatching profession in students and working specialists. It focuses on the dynamics of their attitudes in various stages of professional development and on the possible causes of dissonance between the values and attitudes. The article also presents the results of correlation and factor analyses of motivation, quality of life indicators, anxiety, self-actualisation, subjective control level and the values that define the attitudes towards professional activity (such as 'interesting work', 'public recognition', 'work effectiveness').
