Applying D. Buss Questionnaire "Events and Behaviors Affecting Status and Reputation"in the Russian Sample

The article presents the results of a study that involved D. Buss questionnaire "Events and Facts Affecting the Status and Reputation", which is designed to measure various manifestations of status and predict development of tactics and strategies of the status behavior that is aimed at gaining and maintaining the individual's position in a hierarchically organized structure of the society. The main aim of the study was to adapt D.Buss's questionnaire on the Russian sample with the subsequent standardization: determining the internal consistency of the subscales, comparing with the American data and evaluating the validity and reliability of the instrument.
