Abstract

The article presents the results of research in identity of adolescents with deviant behavior. We consider the temporal characteristics of identity, antisocial and prosocial components, the degree of diffusion and differentiation of self-representations in comparison with normative group of adolescents. Identity is considered within the framework of E. Erikson and his followers approaches and I. H. Markus framework of possible. The study involved three subsamples: students of special schools for children with deviant behavior of open and closed types and a control group. The study was conducted using a modified set of unfinished sentences covering several aspects of the temporary identity (current Self, possible Self, representation of the future and the past and fears related to the future). We obtained the distinction between "deviant" and "normative" teenagers in characteristics of temporal identity, level of asociality, differentiation and awareness of self-representations, their future and past.
