Prevention of deviant behavior through the develop-ment of mentoring activities in the «student-student» system
Abstract
The article discusses the features of preventing deviant behavior through mentoring activities. The purpose of the article is to identify the features of the organization of mentoring activities at school that contribute to the prevention of deviant behavior in adolescents. Research methods: theoretical; empirical (testing, pedagogical experiment); methods of quantitative and qualitative analysis. Empirical research materials obtained from a sample of mentors and mentees are presented. The prevention program included preparation and training of mentors, work support and keeping a diary of mentoring groups, and individual consultations. The results of the study can be used in organizing positive prevention of deviant behavior in children and youth, educational work with students.
