The Technique of Higher Inclusive Education of the Persons with Disabilities Used in the United States

Description of the Technique of Higher Inclusive Education of the Persons with Disabilities Used in the United States is based on information, collected during business trip in the USA from 11 to 25 May 2008. The goal of business trip was auxiliary vocational training in the field of inclusive professional education of people with disabilities. Business trip was organized by MSUPE. It was one of the measures of Innovative Educational Project “Institute of Humanitarian Techniques”. The Technique gives clear and full ideas of how inclusive education for people with disabilities can be organized in universities. Also the Technique gives clear ideas about people who take part in the creation of special conditions for persons with disabilities in universities (including persons with disabilities themselves) and distribution of functions, rights and responsibilities between them. Technique gives opportunity to organize education of students with disabilities regardless of the type and severity of their disability. This Technique is the most rational today. The Technique can be applied in institutions witch realized programs of vocational training and higher education, if it will be adopted for Russian system of education and social protection of people with disabilities.
