Psychological Influence and Teacher's Professional Attitude Towards the Empathic Way of Interacting

Abstract

Productivity of teacher-pupil interactions is conditioned by the degree of development of the teacher's professionally-related qualities. Empathy is one of such traits. As a professional setting empathy influences the specific of teacher-pupil interactions and shapes the essence of their communication. The artilce displays the need for further investigation of the mechanisms of empathic interactions and development of the teacher's appropriate settings. Different types of professional setting for empathic interaction and their characteristics are described.
