School attacks: aggressive and auto-aggressive actions of juveniles

Abstract

The article describes the results of foreign theoretical and empirical researches on school attacks with multiple victims. A number of studies focus on the risk factors identified in the analysis of the completed attacks. The effectiveness of a qualitative approach to the assessment of risk factors is discussed. The approaches to the prevention of school attacks are considered. In addition to focusing on stable risk factors, the necessity of taking into account the algorithms of behavior of adolescents in the period immediately preceding the attack is justified.
