Modern problems of diagnostics of mental retardation

Abstract

The contribution examines the perceptions of mental retardation which are accepted in Russian psychology of special needs and the data of modern clinical research. It justifies the necessity of differential diagnostics which allows, in particular, to distinguish dysontogenetic disorders, behavior disorders and mental disorders which are inherent to mentally retarded children.
