Abstract

The efficacy of the law enforcement officials is crucially dependent on the prior training of personnel and especially on the level of moral-psychological and vocational training. Professional and psychological training of law enforcement officials traditionally encompasses the broad range of issues, including personal and collective diagnostics, correction of psychological qualities, regulation of mental properties and processes of personality and interpersonal relationships in groups. However, the content, forms and methods of this training often do not fully take into account the specific features of the activity, to which the specialists are getting trained for. This article examines the main problems of organizing the professional and psychological preparation for law enforcement officials to the complex psychological conditions of professional activity that occurs in stressful conditions, in situations involving weapons, physical force and special means.
