Abstract

This article describes a technique developed by the authors which is aimed at diagnosing socially approved behaviour in children. Socially approved behaviour is regarded as a special form of social relations construction; it reflects one's desire to be acknowledged by a significant other. The authors describe the technique itself, its norms and give results of its validation. They also give results of factor analysis and of their research carried out on preschool children that was aimed at revealing the correlation between the types of interaction and the data collected using the technique.
