The word ‘dog’ in Polish and Russian language

Abstract

To find out common element in Polish and Russian languages the word ‘dog’ was analyzed – what kind of associations exists within this reality. The most important was to bring the stable language units, including idioms, proverbs. Exactly they are a sign of some country reality that reflect in the language. Literature, films and others elements of Polish and Russian culture also have been analyzed.
