Self-injurious behavior in borderline personality disorder

Abstract

The article presents a synthesis of more than thirty studies in recent years devoted to self-injurious behavior in patients with borderline personality disorder. Particular attention is drawn to the variety of forms of self-injurious behavior and analyzes the motives of self-harm.
