Abstract

The countryside way of life had no need for institutionalization in asylums, the practice of providing in-home support for lonely disabled and special needs people still exists there, when the whole village helps with house¬hold matters and sources of income. The author shares her reflections about the situation in modern cities with provision of independent life for adults with special needs, who were left without parental support. Ending
