Abstract

This article is devoted to some aspects of development of international fair in Western Europe during the Middle Ages. Fairs in Champagne, Bruges, Frankfurt am Main, Geneva, Zurzah, Lyon had an international significance because they were situated at the intersection point of trade ways which connected different parts of Europe.
