Leadership and Management: The Main Trends of Formation and Development of the Field

Abstract

The article analyzes the formation and development of leadership and management field in domestic and foreign social psychology. It focuses not only on psychologically qualitative assessment of the main approaches to understanding the psychological and socio-psychological nature of the phenomena of leadership and management, but also on characteristics of the main points in the theoretical understanding of the very essence of relationships with interpersonal importance. The methodological, almost universal trajectory of development can be traced in any essentially important social-psychological range of problems: from an absolutization of one of the determining factors to the “synthetic” conceptual framework of registration the maximum number of significant variables determining phenomena of interest.
